Asphalt 8: Airborne is a racing game which was developed as well as published by Gameloft, a popular name in the world of game developers. It was launched in the year 2013 and is available for all mobile operating systems whether it is iOS, Windows or Android. Asphalt 8 is an extension of the previous game Asphalt 7- Heat and also possesses some similar features. It is purely a smartphone game but users can also use it on their PC by using Bluestacks app player.

More than ninety cars from the popular car developers like Mustang, Mclaren, Lamborghini, Mercedes, etc. are available for the user and are divided into five major groups. User/player has to start with a car named Dodge Dart from Group D which is the lowest group while the car having highest rank among all of them is 9FF GT9 VMAX. User is free to choose anyone from these as there is no purchasing options available, just like it happened in previous games of the series.
Unlike the previous game of the Asphalt series, this game also have four controlling options which are ‘Tilt-to-steer’, ‘Tap-to-Steer’, ‘On Screen Controls’ and ‘Tilt and icons’. All four controlling functions works in different way and it depends on user which controlling option they wants to use while playing. Asphalt 8 game features nine most beautiful locations of the world, which are London, Tokyo, Barcelona, Iceland, Venice, Monaco, Alps, Nevanda and French Guiana.
Previous Asphalt series game contained more than 180 events, which were divided into eight different seasons; in this version some more events has been added in this series, which gives it more importance than ever before. Game’s subtitle Airborne clearly indicates that this time the track on which cars will be racing contains ramps i.e. possibility is very high that player’s car will be more in air than on the tyres. Interestingly the time user’s car remains in air, more the boost will be added in their car. This time the developers has also added a new boost pattern in which the boost meter contain a red zone, and if player hit boost in that red zone speed of their car doubles itself.
Asphalt 8: Airborne is also available in an online multiplayer mode which can be easily played either locally by connecting with other users through a Wi-Fi network or playing globally, when users connects on internet.
